Ever wondered what to do with your Facebook Page? Follow these 7 simple steps to make your Facebook page an engaging place, attracting new fans daily, willing to follow you all the way to your hubspot.

#1. decide on time and frequency of your posts

Be consistent with your posting frequency on your page. Think about daily, weekly, or a few times per week. I would advice you to at least do once per week. Frequency is just part of the success. Content is always king. So, be sure you’ve got something valuable to share. The time of your posts depends on your fans and your industry.

#2. post manually on your page

Use not only text, but also video and photos. My Facebook mentor -Mari Smith- recently shared with me that content posted via third party apps (like networkedblogs) may be hidden in the news feed of your fans! So, post manually.

#3. drive traffic to your hubspot

Facebook pages are like twitter or LinkedIn. Great social eco-systems to drive traffic to your hubspot, which most often will be your website. If you own a blog site, post a question on your page and include a link to the content on your site. Add an awesome picture to attract more eye-balls.

#4. ask questions

New Facebook pages offer this great tool on your page, called Question. Enter an enchanting question and predefine as many answers as you want. Share it so fans can cast their votes.

#5. search for other pages

Use Facebook as page and start searching for pages that are related to your niche market.  Like them and leave a message on their wall.  The thumbnail of your page will show up on their wall and they might like you back.

#6. add a like box to your website

These steps tell you how to do it: -first use Facebook as person (not page). Go to your page. Select edit page, select marketing and click on add a like box to your website. This allows visitors of your website to like your Facebook page on your website.

#7. tag friends and Pages in your posts

To tag a friend, type the “@” symbol. One you enter the “@” symbol and the first letter of a name, a drop-down menu will appear. Select the name of your friend or the name of the page. If you tag a friend or page, your post will show up on their wall and they will receive a notification. Be careful with this. Make sure people do not perceive it as spam.
