Create Video Lead Pages

I recently discovered a new tool: Traffic Geyser. This is magnificent software that leads you step by step to creation of video lead pages. Lead pages are intended to incite people to action. Figures show that video lead pages achieve higher conversion. A well-designed video lead page includes trigger words to enchant your page visitors and encourage them to take action. The first action for anyone visiting a lead page is entering their name and email address.

I think a long time now to create my lead page. Finally, I have overcome my fear and made my first video lead page. Although a bit choppy video is included, I dare to show it here. Now, be one of the first to witness the results.

If you have ever created a lead page, you must have experienced the hardest part to be the video recording. You need confidence, a good script, a white wall, an excellent camera and some editing software. I have used imovie for this. The video was uploaded to you tube so I could embed the code in my video lead page.

The tweet shared by Guy, included a link that led me to this insightful article “50 Trigger Words and Phrases for Powerful Multimedia Content” by Brian Clark – the Executive Editor of Copyblogger.

Thrilled by the content of this post, I shared my comment with Brian:

Douglas Idugboe – the Executive Editor of Smedio- wrote a post about social behavior. This subject has my attention, so I wrote this  comment: “You can create rules to prevent or punish undesired behavior. This does not grab the source of undesired behavior. It starts with a social attitude, sensitivity and being able to show empathy in the other. If someone shows no respect for others, you do not solve this with rules. If you draw lines, probably disrespectful behavior will be less visible. But undesired attitudes of individuals will not disappear. You can teach children social behavior, but that is no guarantee that they -as adults- have the competence to deal with their individual freedom in an appropriate way. IMO, rules are not a fundamental solution for antisocial behavior”.
